Hello! I am Maria Adelaida. I want to tell you a bit more about Yur’Hir, its history and hopes.

Years ago, when in a long-distance relationship, saying goodbye with a “you’re here”, signaling the heart, became a tradition for my now husband and me. Especially when going through customs and migration, where it was not really possible to be heard. We pointed our fingers to our hearts. You’re here. With time, the signal transformed into something we said when times were especially challenging while being thousands of miles apart. Using the phonetic writing of “you’re here” as if it was pronounced in Spanish (Yurjir, now Yur’Hir) became a way of distinguishing it, making it a secret greeting of sorts. You’re here, you’re loved, you’re not alone.

Now, we are no longer away from each other but achieving goals and starting a new life together in Canada. I thought it was the moment to share our secret greeting with the rest of the world and he supported me fully. Because it is needed, as a word of comfort, in these difficult times we are going through at the moment. Yur’Hir. You’re here. In our hearts. In your loved ones’. In the present (even if it doesn’t look as pretty). In your body. You are here.

Here, at Yur’Hir, I aim to provide you a space where you can find inspiration to brighten your space and daily pursuits and help you have a happier, fuller life. Not only now, when everything looks so somber and it is especially needed, but beyond this moment. I aim to be one companion in the quest of a happier life.

At Yur’Hir, I have three main goals:

  • To maintain an optimistic influence through both happy and difficult times.
  • To aid in the process of a healthier, more mindful life.
  • To bring a medium to cherish memories.

This is why I defined three lines of products and articles, which I will be developing with love and care:

  • Yoga & Mindfulness
  • Health & Food
  • Love & Family

I also care a great deal about the planet we live in, striving to be mindful of it as far as I can. It is something I include all through Yur’Hir. I invite you to do the same in your life 🙂
